I have renewed my employment contract here in Japan for a third (and likely final) year, so I'll be back home and available for commissions again next July.  Thank you for your continued support, and I look forward to getting back into wandmaking soon!

I have accepted a position with the Japan Exchange and Teaching program as an English teacher, so I will be living and working in Japan until my contract expires. I am therefore unable to take any wand commissions until I return home. Sorry!

I have just received notice that I have a good chance of being hired for a year-long employment contract starting July 2016. During this time I would be out of the country, and would need to put wandmaking on a 12-month HIATUS.

I'll know for sure if I get the position in April, so waitlist adds will be PAUSED until that time. If I get the position, the waitlist will STAY CLOSED while I'm away, and work on wands will be put on hold until I return. If things don't turn out for me, the waitlist will OPEN again, and I'll continue to work through it like normal.

Some good news about waitlist spots: my summer might be more free than I expected, so I may have time to do more wands than I currently have waitlisted. If you're on the December list, I may contact you in about a month to see if you're interested in placing your commission early!

I've also started making wands for those on my June list, and will be contacting those on my September list when that batch is completed. I'll do my best to keep the waitlist updated with progress percentages so you can see how things are going.

Willow is  creamy white with light orange-brown streaks. Has knots, since I'm using a raw branch.
